In light of the current state of emergency and public health emergency, and in accordance with Governor Murphy’s Executive Orders 103 & 104, the Union City Board of Education meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020 with caucus beginning at 5:00 P.M. and public session beginning at 7:00 P.M. will no longer be conducted in-person at the Union City Education Center, 3912 Bergen Turnpike, Union City, New Jersey as previously advertised. The Union City Board of Education shall now conduct the meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020 via telephone conference with an executive meeting beginning at 5:00 P.M. and public session to begin at 5:30 P.M.. Please also note the change in time then previously advertised.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board shall begin its executive meeting at 5:00 P.M. with a resolution for closed session to discuss personnel matters, student matters and pending/anticipated litigation. At 5:30 P.M. the Board shall begin its public session. Members of the public can join in the meeting and provide public comment via telephone at (201) 348-2708 and when prompted entering the following codes: BRIDGE NUMBER: 5570500 AND BRIDGE PASSWORD: 1221.

Members of the public can access and view the agenda for the March 26, 2020 meeting on the website of the Union City Board of Education @www.ucboe.us.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT FORMAL ACTION MAY OR MAY NOT BE TAKEN ON THE MATTERS LISTED ON THE BOARD’S AGENDA AND ON SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS MAY PROPERLY COME BEFORE THE UNION CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION.
